Media Server and DLNA support
The media server feature on PS3 was great for easy in home streaming of media to the console. I'd love to see this feature brought back for PS4.

Should have had this feature at launch as with divx and other file type support.

This feature has already been announced for a future patch. Everyone is wasting their votes.

Please also a comeback of the visualizations. I love Gaia and the purple wave while using the PS3 like a Jukebox at a party and streaming the Music from the DLNA HDD/USB drive/AudioCD. Imagine a very high detail Gaia with real time Day/night cycle (which should be Random, other wise you might see your part of the world always at night, if your parties are late hehe) oh and real time clouds.

This shouldn't be main priority if you want to use DLNA support go and use your ps3

@InPHAMEus Source? I know Shu mentioned that they are working on something, but that's it. NO OFFICIAL confirmation that it will 100% come in a future update nor ETA on that.

This is already confirmed as coming in next firmware update.

Native support for mkv/x264 (no transcoding needed) over DLNA would make this the ultimate media device.

Include support for 4K media as well.

For some members of my family streaming holiday/family videos to the TV was the only time they used the PS3. Difficult to justify an upgrade.
For myself, I have all my iTunes stuff on my hard drive and while I could find other ways to play, the PS3 just made things simple.

Definitely this! I was really surprised that this wasn't implemented on PS4, It was always really rock-solid and nice when I used it on PS3 (for me, it always seemed to behave better than when I streamed using my Xbox 360)

Make it a little better than the PS3. Better support for streaming from Windows/Mac/Linux and expanded codec support.
