What do you want to see on PS4?

Feature Requests

There are two ways to get more votes:

  1. More media apps, specifically HBOGO

    Netflix and Amazon are great, but let's get some serious media capabilities with our "living room" console. HBOGO, ShowtimeAnytime, UFC etc.

  2. Save / Edit / Post gameplay recording

    Saving gameplay recording.as follows:

    Save gameplay to PS4 HDD or external devices HDD/USB and make it accessible via network / ftp or file transfer.
    Save gameplay to external devices such as network map shares

    Edit gameplay:
    Well sort of like the XBone (sorry guys bit it looks cool)
    Include PSCamera / audio recording (ingame or afterwards)
    Trim / speed (slow fast) rewind fast forward zoom and other effects adding text or highlights etc etc

    Posting on:
    Youtube
    Dropbox
    PS4 internal HDD
    PS4 external HDD / USB etc
    Networkshare FTP etc

  6. Option to Save Videos and Screenshots to hardrive

    I'm not interested in sending my videos to facebook or to twitch. I want them on the hardrive then removable so I can edit them on my computer.

  7. "Level Up!" notifications

    When your trophies are synced, you should receive a notification (and a pop-up, if you are using the PS4) if the trophies you added to your account made your PSN level go up.

  9. Confirm/Cancel button remap

    Instead of X as confirm, the option to remap this button to O, just like how it is on Japanese systems.

  10. Bring a competitive browser to ps4

    Having a Firefox leveled browser and compatibility with basic pc formats like pdf and maybe org would eliminate the need of a pc. Not fully but for basic users it would.

  11. Playstation equivalent of gamerscore

    Give each level of trophies a certain numerical value that adds to a user's total score just like gamerscore does with achievements on Xbox consoles.

  12. PS1 emulator with Share/streaming features.

    I would like to move my PS1 games from PS3 to PS4 to use new features like Share/screenshots/streaming and hopefully button mapping select so it won't clash with Sharing options or add double tap or something. And make sure to have option to take screens/vids on their native res.

    Also, I hope that i will be able to play my classic from games JP store like I do with my PS3.

  13. Dynamic backgrounds to be brought back

    dynamic themes to be brought back for the ps4 but with additional features and more detailed theme loops, more options for system fonts and different system background music for each theme.

  14. Face tracking for broadcasting

    The camera zooms when you broadcast to twitch, but only in the center of the camera's field. the system can recognize your face, so it should follow it for broadcasting

  16. Ability to turn off HDMI Audio when Optical Audio output is active

    When I output audio through the optical port, my HDMI audio is still active out of the TV. I would like the ability to make these mutually exclusive.

  18. Output voice chat audio to TV/amp (like on PS3)

    Like on PS3, when using chat headset as a microphone only, send chat audio to the TV.

  19. The ability to share links, pictures, video on the friend feed

    The what's new section should allow, like all modern social networks, to share links(from browser), pictures, and video. Would make going into PS4 a more connected experience

  20. Ability to use saved game video clips & screen shots as wallpaper

    As an alternative to dynamic themes, using your saved game play video clips & screen shots as a wallpaper montage theme.
