What do you want to see on PS4?

Feature Requests

  1. ability to mirror phones to the screen.

    While dlna and youtube will do the most of it it's still gonna be a bit spreed out. Would be nice to have it on one place. The full mirroring could jump to given aps if we use them. Like with the remote play we could do the opposite. By pushing our activities from the phone to the big screen.

  2. Friends list private streaming including interaction PS4 PSApp PC

    Streaming gameplay in private to friends on your friends list or selected trusted users.

    They can interact, text / speech, via the PS4 / PS-App on their phone tablet pc.
    Additional from the PS4 and app you can start your PS4 and/or game and instantly join co-op or multiplayer.

  3. Bring a competitive browser to ps4

    Having a Firefox leveled browser and compatibility with basic pc formats like pdf and maybe org would eliminate the need of a pc. Not fully but for basic users it would.

  4. Background music playback

    Choose your own set of songs by playlist or artists and let the music be played in the background while you play or chatting worh friends. Accomplished by a simple control center to lower/upper the volume (or even mix game and party sound with music). Because everyone loves music :)

  6. Games tab

    A tab that drops down like the "What's New" tab that organizes the dynamic menu by putting all installed games into the tab instead of having every installed game across the menu bar.

  9. Ability to upload videos to websites other than Facebook

    Nobody wants to upload gaming videos to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and other websites would be much more suited to this feature.

  10. Add the ability to transfer .avi or .mp4 videos. I loved this on the PS3.

    Pretty simple. I want to be able to transfer all my movie files to my PS4.

    While Sony's Music Unlimited is nice to have, I'd like to see support for Spotify as it is my number one choice music streaming service.

  12. Full media support, including .mkv containers

    I'd like the PS4 to be able to handle almost all media files, so it can get them from a nas, like Sony's media player devices.

  13. Option for automatic stick inversion in games

    An option that would always allow the console to invert the right analog stick for the camera in third person games and the view in first person games like the Xbox 360 has.

    You dont have to sync trophies, they stay updated like xbox achievements

  16. Greatly expand voice control and PS Camera Interaction

    I'm talking Kinect 2 levels of integration, here. Let's have every aspect of the UI navigable by voice.

    As for the voice commands themselves, let's make it so you can say the command in its entirety and have the Playstation respond, rather than: "Playstation...", (Pause), "Battlefield 4", "Start".

    Let's have instead: "Playstation, start Battlefield 4" or "Playstation, play Battlefield 4"

  17. "Level Up!" notifications

    When your trophies are synced, you should receive a notification (and a pop-up, if you are using the PS4) if the trophies you added to your account made your PSN level go up.

  18. Ability to turn off HDMI Audio when Optical Audio output is active

    When I output audio through the optical port, my HDMI audio is still active out of the TV. I would like the ability to make these mutually exclusive.

  19. Ability to delete captures made with the share button

    Right now we can't delete what we capture. In the long run the HDD will fill up very fast...
    I want to keep my space for my games not for gameplay video I already sent to facebook...

  20. "PS4 RECORD THAT"

    As great as it is to have the last 15 minutes of gameplay, it's not very convenient to go back after a long gaming session and find the cool thing that happened. For one, you have to exit your current game to do so. It'd be really great to have a button press option or camera command that records last 3ish minutes of gameplay and saves it. All those times in battlefield, when something cool happens, I have to remind myself that I will go back and save the footage... But after 3 hours of playing, it's easily forgotten or…
