Feature Requests

  2. Output voice chat audio to TV/amp (like on PS3)

    Like on PS3, when using chat headset as a microphone only, send chat audio to the TV.

  3. Ability to turn off HDMI Audio when Optical Audio output is active

    When I output audio through the optical port, my HDMI audio is still active out of the TV. I would like the ability to make these mutually exclusive.

  4. Picture in Picture (PiP/Snap feature)

    multitasking apps with games on the screen at the same time.

    i know ps4 already has multitasking when you double tap the PS button and it instantly switchs apps/game

    but it would be cool to be playing a game and skype a friend that is in the game with you and talk and stuff

  5. Make a better battery for the DS4

    The battery on the DS4 is horrid. Please make it better in the next version of the DS4.

  7. Supports NTFS partitions

    I wish I could plug my USB drive to play multimedia content that can exceed the size of 4 GB maximum supported by the FAT32 partition type.

  8. The ability to delete your own stories from "What's New"

    Simply because I don't need/want "Played Battlefield 4" showing up 5 times a day and cluttering mine or my friends feed.

  9. Enable automatic installation of downloaded game Patches

    Enable automatic installation of downloaded game Patches.
    Currently you're forced to initialize installations via the Downloads menu, this is very counter-intuitive.

  10. PS1 emulator with Share/streaming features.

    I would like to move my PS1 games from PS3 to PS4 to use new features like Share/screenshots/streaming and hopefully button mapping select so it won't clash with Sharing options or add double tap or something. And make sure to have option to take screens/vids on their native res.

    Also, I hope that i will be able to play my classic from games JP store like I do with my PS3.

  11. Playstation equivalent of gamerscore

    Give each level of trophies a certain numerical value that adds to a user's total score just like gamerscore does with achievements on Xbox consoles.

  13. Update Browser - Can't save a Pic/Video

    If you wanted to save a Pic or video on PS3 it was just a couple buttons. It looks as if you can't do either on PS4. Please bring back all the old PS3 Browser goodies, better zoom, save pic or video to hard disk. You could also add save to external device as well.

  14. Option for automatic stick inversion in games

    An option that would always allow the console to invert the right analog stick for the camera in third person games and the view in first person games like the Xbox 360 has.

  15. Add the ability to transfer .avi or .mp4 videos. I loved this on the PS3.

    Pretty simple. I want to be able to transfer all my movie files to my PS4.

  16. Prevent Burn In

    I want the Playstation 4 to get dim when being idle for more than 5 minutes to prevent screen burn in. It should have been a feature before it came out. Other than that it is an awesome machine!

  18. Face tracking for broadcasting

    The camera zooms when you broadcast to twitch, but only in the center of the camera's field. the system can recognize your face, so it should follow it for broadcasting
