What do you want to see on PS4?

Feature Requests

  1. Ability to use saved game video clips & screen shots as wallpaper

    As an alternative to dynamic themes, using your saved game play video clips & screen shots as a wallpaper montage theme.

  2. Implement moderation tools during the streams through additional input

    It would be cool to have additional controller (or keyboard) support ready for a moderator while the others play and stream the game.

    For example, player A and guest/moderator B are streaming the game. Viewer C says "you guys are %$"%$!". Moderator B pauses the chat flow on the PS4, selects the ugly comment and applies the warn/ban option on viewer C while player A keeps playing.

    OR

    Player A pauses the game and pauses the chat flow, selects the ugly comment and applies the warn/mute/ban option.

    The first option would be better, since it would make the experience fluid…

  3. Extended HDMI sound options.

    The PS3 contains a variety of options in HDMI sound like 7.1 and at various frequencies such as 192kHz. Receivers expecting stereo sometimes have problems when not being able to uncheck the surround options. Higher noise floor is evident. Making it like the PS3 solves this as stereo users can deselect the other options. As an example a Denon 2112ci currently receives 3/4/.1 from the PS4 in direct stereo mode. There are no options at all for HDMI sound currently.

  8. Friends list private streaming including interaction PS4 PSApp PC

    Streaming gameplay in private to friends on your friends list or selected trusted users.

    They can interact, text / speech, via the PS4 / PS-App on their phone tablet pc.
    Additional from the PS4 and app you can start your PS4 and/or game and instantly join co-op or multiplayer.

  9. ability to mirror phones to the screen.

    While dlna and youtube will do the most of it it's still gonna be a bit spreed out. Would be nice to have it on one place. The full mirroring could jump to given aps if we use them. Like with the remote play we could do the opposite. By pushing our activities from the phone to the big screen.

  10. Change social account settings - Facebook story sharing

    After signing in to PSN and setting up the PS4 for the first time, I can't change my settings for posting to Facebook. I had to delete my account and sign in again.

    You should be able to change what's posted from the system's settings.

  11. Add Firefox as an option to set it to be the default browser!

    It would eliminate anything future releated with the browser since Mozilla will work on it for free!

  12. IOS Notification Center Intigration.

    Apple ios notification center Intigration is totally user optional but when enabled it can notify the user of different actions happening within the app enabled to use it. For example when enabled the playstation app can send an alert even if your phone is locked to notify you if a friend has gone online or sent you a message or invite. It could also tell you if you have a download available or when your download is complete.

  14. Downloadable media content Music and video for example

    Not everyone have fast Internet, not all the time.
    Here in the UK streaming videos is laggy not a pleasure and even if it's Works then the rest of the house suffers. No having this makes our ps4 half way always online. And sometimes forexample after a move you have mobil net only wich can be used to download data in the morning. But restricted in the evening.
    With slow net if someone is on Skype there's no streaming for the others.

  16. Categories for "Whats new"- All/Friends/Me

    A Filter for the Whats new section would be desirable. Not everybody needs/wants to see his/ her own feed. Put in default view options or sorting "Start Whats new with 'friends' 'All' 'Me' "

    Like on ps3,we have categories on games ( ps3 / ps2 / minis,etc ),why don't create a list to digital games here we can see ALL games we have,even if they are not installed ( like on steam ),that will be a perfect to everyone how have psplus and after a few months have a lot of uninstalled games

  19. PS3 Stream ( like on psvita )

    A lot of people have ps3 and now with the ps4 will stop the ps3 for a while,my idea is: why ps3 can stream like on psvita? with that i can put my ps3 on another house division and still play ps4 without have to moving it !

  20. Enable r buttons to skip songs in home menu

    Since the r buttons don't do anything in the home menu, you should enable them to skip songs playing on music unlimited.
